Christopher Welsh, President

Chris has been designing and maintaining employee benefit plans since 1989.  For 13 of those years he was a Group Insurance Specialist, working with a major property and casualty insurance company.  Throughout his career, Chris has built solid relationships with underwriters to ensure every client receives consistent value. Chris has developed a particular skill in working collaboratively with major insurance companies, special risk carriers and, of course, his own clients.

 


Shelley Bajus, Marketing Assistant

Shelley began her insurance career in 1984 in the Prairies.  Shortly thereafter, she was transferred to Vancouver to work as a marketing assistant with a major life and group insurance company.  After a few years spent raising her young children, Shelley has teamed up with Chris to assist him with his growing clientele.  Shelley’s experience dealing with the brokerage community makes her uniquely qualified to help provide excellent service to our growing client base.

Shelley brings an extensive background of payroll and accounting experience to her position at Phoenix Benefits Solutions. Her extensive payroll management experience gives Shelley a broad perspective in understanding the special challenges faced by benefits administrators.
